Publishing Principles
Destination Psych CE publishes content in service of one purpose: helping licensed psychologists and mental health professionals engage in continuing education that is rigorous, restorative, and rooted in place.
What we publish
We publish information about our events, speakers, CE credit offerings, and the destinations that anchor our programming. We also publish educational content related to the psychological frameworks our events explore — including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, evidence-based approaches to clinician renewal, and the science of awe, nature, and well-being.
Who creates our content
Content is created by Destination Psych CE founders Gretchen Lewis-Snyder, PhD, LP, Karla Buerkle, PhD, LP and Jessica Cohen, PhD, LP all psychologist with over 17 years of clinical experience, or in collaboration with our featured speakers and subject-matter experts. We do not publish anonymous content.
Our standards
All factual claims are grounded in peer-reviewed research or verified professional sources. CE credit hours and approval bodies are aurately represented and updated promptly if they change. We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial content. If we feature a speaker or venue partner, that relationship is disclosed.
Our voice
We write for peers — clinicians who are thoughtful, busy, and skeptical of hype. We aim to be direct, warm, and precise.
